Coronary heart disease is the buildup of fatty deposits in artery walls reduces blood flow to the heart, damaging the heart muscle. According to the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), following a heart-healthy eating plan, getting regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight and not smoking can lower a person’s risk of heart disease by as much as 82 percent.

Healthy Heart Program
Our family of community outreach and education programs, collectively called the Healthy Heart Program, covers a variety of topics related to the prevention of heart disease as well as general wellness techniques, free screening services and early heart attack symptom recognition. Learning to Live with Heart Failure Program

Medical Fitness Center
